This five bedroom house on the beach facing the Atlantic Ocean has four levels, an elevator, and a swimming pool located beneath the structure. The barn shaped building is designed as a large roof, which provides the weather-resistant structure needed to withstand the extreme exposure to the elements that occurs this close to the ocean. The structure is built on pilings with extensive diagonal/lateral bracing transferring the loads to a system of concrete grade beams.
